The Perfect Piece

Life as a young Christian isn’t easy if you’re finding that it is, you’re probably not doing it right. There are big decisions, little decisions and in-between decisions that we all need to make during our time on this side of eternity; sometimes we get them right, other times, we aren’t as successful.  There are weeks where we find ourselves running with God, completely liberated and there are other weeks where we may not even find the time to read our Bibles.

That is the real. 

And that’s exactly what we hope to be here: real.

We try not to hold back and paint a perfect picture of our Christian walks; instead, week by week, we document our thoughts, the moments that change our perspectives, the times our faith is tested and the ways in which Jesus shapes  us into the young women He has destined us to become.  We are open and vulnerable, hoping that our lessons and stumbling blocks will help you in some way or another.

We have an events page which has all the current Christian events happening in London and if you’re looking for some new Christian music, we also have a section where you can vibe to what we are vibing to and find music that we hope will edify you.

Hi, I’m Dani, and I don’t think I can emphasise just how happy I am that you’ve found your way to our blog, and you’re here, actually scrolling through what we’re saying! I’m no way near “cool” enough to be called a blogger, ( I’m one of those ‘enjoys long walks as a pastime, gets excited about nights in with wine and Eastenders’ types), but hey, God doesn’t really care if we think we fit the box for the things he’s called us to.

I cannot promise that I’ll write the most insightful, life-changing, mind-blowing articles, but I do promise to offer what’s on my heart, with as much honesty and care as I can muster.

I hope our posts can shed some light on the things you may be pondering, can discuss the issues you wish more people were speaking about, and can act as a reminder that you are not walking alone.

Hey there! I’m Joy and I’m not as sad or serious as I look in the above picture, I just think the picture makes me look deeper and cooler than I actually am.

I didn’t actually mean to become a writer/blogger, in fact, I used to swear that I would never write simply because I thought no one would ever care about what I had to say. But you know that Jesus, constantly taking you out of your comfort zone and making you do the things that scare you.

I write as candidly as I can about the stuff that happens to me. Sometimes I feel like my life is a TV show that everyone is watching secretly and laughing at (The Truman Show obviously had an effect on me) but it’s my pleasure to share the embarrassing, hard, sad and happy moments with you all.
